My name is Sarah Smith-Pearse and I am an experienced translator and interpreter specialising in materials related to international development, the Churches and Latin America. I have worked for many years with British organisations in Latin America and served as a translator and interpreter for journalists, development agency workers and supporter groups visiting the region.
My recent translations include "Grow by Drinking from your own Well", a personal development book from Guatemala, a policy report on the environmental impact of coal mining in Colombia and a set of presentations and reports for a Congregation Council in Rome.
As a translator, I can offer you high professional standards, a polished written style, a fast turn-around time and a flexible attitude towards possible last minute edits and additions.
I live in the beautiful Scottish highlands with my partner Chris and, when I’m not working, I enjoy long hikes up into the mountains to take in the spectacular views of lochs, forests and wildlife.
